The Government requires energy conservation services at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center to install new 800 ton Natural Gas Driven Chiller and seeks to obtain these services via the Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) solicitation. The maximum contract term for this ESPC shall not exceed 20 years. Firms on the DOD Prequalified Contractors List for 1997 interested in competing for this work should express their interest in writing to the above listed contracting office by 3:30 p.m. (EST) on October 24, 1997. No formal request for proposals will be issued. Interested prequalified firms responding to this notice will be required to attend a one day site visit and briefing at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center between October 24, 1997 and November 23, 1997. The purpose of this brieifng is to provide information regarding this facilties objective for this ESPC contract and provide data pertaining to this facility. The exact date is to be determined and all respondents will be notified by mail. Competing proposals submitted by prequalified firms, and received within 30 calendar days of this brieifing will be considered and evaluated. Discussions and negotiations will be conducted with those firms submitting proposals that are detemined to have a reasonable chance for award. (0279)
