NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for the Repair of Island Elevated Water Tank, X-45 at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: the construction of a 378,000 liter single pedestal potable water storage tank including foundation, piping, and electrical. The demolition of the existing elevated tank (x-45) is included in this project. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 240 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1791. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 10/21/97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 11/20/97. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
