The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for engineering/technical services -- engineering development, equipment installation, feasibility studies, testing, systems analyses, logistics support, training and program management -- for programs which include Accelerated Support Program (ASP), TB-XX Special Towed Array Capability, Integrated Imagery Processing, and Rest of World (ROW) SUB JDISS. Some of the operational and developmental systems to be supported include: AN/BQQ-5 and -6, AN/BSY-1 and -2, AN/BQR-22 and -23, TB-16/23/29, SEA DOG, Cluster Swan, Cluster NESSIE, MANTIS, etc. Indefinite delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (CPFF) is anticipated with estimated level of effort is 318,000 hours over a five year period of performance. Key labor categories will include Systems Engineer IV (17500 hours), Systems Engineer III (28000 hours), Systems Engineer II (28000 hours) and Electronic Tech VI (26000 hours). Best value award methodology will be employed with evaluation factors including Technical Capability and Cost. Technical Capability factors may include technical approach, personnel, management approach and past performance. Use of oral presentations is currently planned.
