The Program Support Center has a requirement for the District of Columbia, Department of Human Services, Commission on Mental Health Services (CMHS) for 24 hour per day, 7 day per week residential treatment services with an educational/day treatment services component for emotionally disturbed latency age children 6 -- 12 years of age. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued seeking organizations to provide the services. Services shall include room and board; periodic written evaluations (that will include psychological, psychiatric, and educational assessments and the child's Individual Education Plan); individual, group and family therapy; specialty group therapy; counseling; behavioral management; adjunctive therapy; and education, including special education and other related services, as well as home-based therapeutic interventions. Services are currently being provided by the Devereux Foundation. The term of this requirement is anticipated to be 60 months (base period and option periods). The RFP will be available approximately fifteen (15) days after issuance of this notice. The closing date will be approximately thirty (30) days after issuance of the RFP.
