REGIONAL OPSEC SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION Richmond, VA, December 2-4, 1997 Interagency OPSEC (Operations Security)Support Staff and the OPSEC Professionas are managing a three-day symposium at the Defense Security Institute, Defense General Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia. OPSEC involves an array of personnel from Department of Defense, CIA, NSA, GSA, Department of Energy and other groups. The mission of the group is to create awareness about OPSEC and to promote methods of training to eliminate security risks. During the second day of the symposium there will be an opportunity for vendors to exhibit. Technologies include: Secure Communications, Secure Fax, Hardware Security, Software security, Document Destruction, Training, INFOSEC, Infromation Warfare, and any other applications to protect information. symposium vendor exhibits will be promoted to the general population of the Defense General Supply Center.
