Burch, Code 1141B, (301) 743-6662, fax (301) 743-6546 This procurement is for 725 machined MK22 MOD 4 rocket motor head caps DWG. #525-174-0130, WS33077 and nozzles Dwg. #525-174-0132 and will be used to manufacture new MK 22 MOD 4 rocket motors. This hardware procurement has a stringent delivery schedule. Head caps and nozzles must be delivered to NSWC-IHD by August 1998. The casting needed to successfully machine a finished head cap is from 17-4PH stainless steel investment casting. Award will be based on "best value" analysis. Technical factors are: 1) acceptability 2) capability and 3) price. Note: Oral presentation may be required. This requirement is issued under authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) only one responsible source.
