Award of the long-term contract itself will not provide funding for any actual repairs. Rather, repairs will be contracted for through award of individual delivery orders against the LTC. Note especially that thegovernment intends to negotiate with Kaiser Electronic, San Jose, CA, theoriginal equipment manufacturer (OEM) and only known approved source.Technical data, such as drawings, specifications, and test, evaluationandrepair procedures procedures, needed to perform the required services isnot available from the government.
