The Government proposes to acquire an extension of the period of performance of D.O. 0006 against BOA DAAJ09-95-G-0013. The services provided for programmatic and technical support necessary to support the Government in incorporating, validating and verifying capabilities for Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) compatible with the Model AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter. Based upon on-going monitoring of the market place conducted by Apache Attack Helicopter Project Manager technical personnel, it has been determined that Longbow Limited Liability Company (LBLLC), Orlando, FL, is the only source who possesses the engineering disciplines and technical experience necessary to provide the integration support efforts for TESS. The authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Services shall be extended from January 1997 to August 1998.
