U -- MARKET SEARCH FOR LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMS SOL N00204-SEARCH POC Captain D. B. Douglas, tel 850-452-4848. CNET Pensacola is conducting a market search for leadership training programs. The command is seeking technical and price proposal for "TRAINING IN 'VISIONING' STRATEGIES FOR NAVAL SERVICE FUTURE." The objective is to provide organizational team training focused on personal and interpersonal leadership. It is envisioned that all training courses will be conducted in three (3) consecutive sessions of two days or less each in duration, and in groups of 40 to 45 personnel. Location of training will be in the Pensacola Area Complex. Maximum number of participants in this training program shall not exceed 150 personnel. Participants in the leadership training will be the leaders (military and civilian) of the various CNET organizations to include management team members and Leadership Board members. The goal is "to motivate and excite" trainees as to changes that are taking place in the organizational structures, and understand their role within the organization, and the role of their co-workers. CNET is currently aware of two different training methods and programs in existence, such as "The Birkman Method" and the "Covey Program." If there are others in the marketplace who have an interest in presenting their training programs, methods and strategies for consideration, please send your proposals with full description and cost estimate by October 20, 1997.
