OXYGEN TREATMENT PACKS FOR INDIVIDUAL USE. The Naval Sea Systems
Command (NAVSEA) is conducting a market survey to identify sources of
Hyperbaric Closed/Semi-closed Circuit Oxygen Treatment Packs upon which
the Navy might conduct environmental, performance, and operational
testing and evaluation. The goal of the testing will be to qualify
candidate Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Packs (HOTP's) for approval for
navy use and potential procurement. The HOTPs will be used to
administer 100% oxygen to individual U.S. Navy personnel during
decompression within a dry hyperbaric chamber, and must be closed
circuit to minimize oxygen usage and storage. The pack must be capable
of monitoring the oxygen (O2) content of the breathing stream, and
give a visual warning to the user and observer if the O2 content drops
below the 95% specified minimum. Sources who are interested are
requested to submit a technical capability statement demonstrating the
aspectsof the appropriate technology and concept of operation

announcement. This solicitation is for information and planning
purposes only. This announcement is a request for information only and
is not a request for proposals (RFP), nor does the government intend
to pay for information solicited. No contracts will be awarded as a
