requirement is for advisory assistance, non-personal in nature, in
support of the Cambodian Wartime Historical Research Project .
BACKGROUND -- The Cambodian Wartime Archival Research Project is a
major, U.S. -- Cambodian initiative to determine and record the
location, disposition, and content of Khmer language materials of
potential POW-MIA interest currently in the possession of the Cambodian
Documentation Center and the Royal Cambodian government. OBJECTIVE:
This research is specifically aimed at determing the existence and
extent of materials related to the search for U.S. person unaccounted
for from the Vietnam war. The objectives of this effort include working
with Cambodian government officials on a recurring basis and with
representatives of the Cambodian Documentation Center on a daily basis.
The contractor will be responsible for ascertaining the location and
extent of Khmer language records currently under the control of the
Cambodian Document Center, as well as other documents of potential
POW-MIA value currently held by the Cambodian government. SEE NUMBERED
