J -- DRYDOCK AND DOCKSIDE REPAIRS FOR THE USCG 140 FOOT CUTTERS FOR THE EAST COAST AREA SOL DTCG80-98-B-3FA707 DUE 101097 POC Contact Mr. Barat Beachle, Contract Specialist (757) 628-4652 Provide all labor, material, equipment and services for Drydock and Dockside Repair for the USCG 140 FOOT CUTTERS located within the East Coast. This requirement may result in the award of multiple contracts. Contracts will be Requirements Type Contracts. Contracts will be for a Basic Year with Four (4) Option Years, to be exercised at the Coast Guard's discretion. It is anticipated that there may be two (2) Dockside Availabilities and two (2) Drydock availabilities per year. The 140 FOOT CUTTERS include USCGC MORRO BAY, THUNDER BAY, STURGEON BAY, PENOBSCOT BAY. The Government obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds for which payment for contractual purposecan be made. The place of performance is restricted to no open water transit. All referenced documents are available for viewing at 30 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses, large and small are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirement under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 27 Oct 97 97. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
