The requirement shall consist of such items as: Bilge/Ballast Pump Suction Strainer Replacement, Crane Repairs & Weight Test, Anchor Chain Inspection & Preservation, Oily Water Separator Repairs & Upgrade, Air/Vacuum Pump Installation and others. Characteristics of NOAA Ship FERREL: Length overall -- 133 feet -- 3 inches; Beam (Moulded) -- 32 feet-0 inches; Draft (maximum) -- 6 feet-6 inches; Displacement -- 360 tons; Propulsion -- Caterpillar diesel reduction, fixed pitch propeller; Electrical Service -- Caterpillar diesel generator, 450 VAC, 200 amp, 3 phase; crew size -- 19.
