The Regional Contracting Office, Seckenheim, Germany, intends to award a competitively awarded contract for US Army Europe C2 Services in Support of Headquarters, US Army, Europe & 7A. 2. Contract performance is expected to commence on 01 April 1998 and run for one year through 31 March 1999. We expect to include two, one year options into the contract. 3. Contractors with experience in contingency operations/deployments; C2 systems (GCCS, AGCCS, and BC2A); Windows New Tech 4.0 LAN; NTC (H.320); and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) are invited to attend a site visit on 06 November 1997, at Campbell Barracks, Roemerstrasse, Heidelberg, Germany. Contractors are required to report to the front gate of Campbell Barracks at 0930 houts, 06 November 1997, for sign in. Meeting will commence at 1000 hours. 4. This contractual action will be processed as a Customer, Contracting, and Commerce (C3) initiative. This process uses a two-step sealed bidding procedure as found in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14.5. Contractors will be given a complete briefing on this process at the site visit. After the completion of the site visit, contractors will be required to submit technical proposals (LIMITED TO 10 PAGES IN LENGTH -- LONGER TECHNICAL PROPOSALS WILL BE REJECTED!!!!!). Technical proposals will cover method of accomplishment as well as provide past experience in these types of services. Acceptable technical proposals submitted will be invited to submit a bid for the requirement. The technical proposal will be the statement of work for the contract. 5.
