set aside for 8(a) participation. HUD requires the services of a
contractor to provide a range of services to facilitate the sale and/or
restructing of HUD-held and/or insured single-family and multifamily
mortgages and Title I home improvement and manufactured housing loans.
The services include determining which mortgages are marketable,
preparing mortgage documents for sale, packaging and marketing the
mortgages, performing detailed seller due diligence, and soliciting
subcontractors for credit reports, site inspections, environmental
inspections, market studies, and related services. In addition, the
contractor(s) will provide logistics support during seller and buyer
due diligence periods, and in conducting auctions, and closing
transactions. The SIC Code for this procurement is 8721 and the Size
Standard is $6.0 million. The period of performance is 48-months from
the date of award and multiple awards are anticipated. Indefinite
Quantity contract awards are contemplated with a guaranteed minimum of
$250,000 and a maximum ordering limitation $30 million per award. This
solicitation will be available on or about 10/31/97. Interested parties
