SP -- NASA JOHNSON SPACE CENTER "INSPECTION 1997" -- OPEN HOUSE FOR BUSINESS LEADERS NASA s Johnson Space Center is hosting an "Inspection" of the human spaceflight center s technologies, facilities, and programs for business and industry leaders, especially those in fields not normally associated with aerospace. The event, running from 11/12 to 11/14, 9:00 to 5:00, features nearly 200 exhibits and demonstrations in over twenty facilities and buildings at the Houston site. Attendees will be able to discuss one on one with NASA experts a variety of technical challenges and solutions in fields including medical and life sciences, virtual reality and robotics, engineering design and analysis, spacecraft command and control, communications and technology, materials and processes, computer and software, aircraft technologies, measurement and testing, and human spaceflight programs including Shuttle, Mir, Space Station and Mars. There is no admission charge for this event, but pre-registration is preferred.
