-- The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB intends to solicit for
construction of project No XUMU 98-4002, Military Family Housing, Phase
V. The work is briefly described as follows: Replace 108 housing units.
Includes demolition, site grading, replacement upgrade of utilities and
pavements, & construction of new housing units. Proves all needed
amenities such as parking, garages, storage, patios, fencing, tot lots,
recreations areas, parks, lights, and trails. Includes demolition &
disposal of abestos, and lead based paints. The specifications and
drawings will specify work in detail. Standard Industrial
Classification Code (SIC) is 1521. The magnitude of this project is
over 10,000,000.00. The total contract performance period is 365
calendar days. This solicitation is unrestricted. Interested firms
should respond as early as possible but no later than 10 Nov 97. Plans
and specifications will be furnished on a first come first serve
basis. The cost of the IFB is $200.00 (non refundable) via certified
check, cashier's check or money order payable to (FSO -- Vandenberg
AFB) Payment shall be submitted with request for IFB package. No
personal or business checks will be accepted. Payment and any inquiry

Any eventual award is contingent upon the availability of funds. A copy
of the specifications and drawings can be reviewed free of charge at

93437-5226, Rm 129. We anticipated issuing this solicitation on or
about 10 Nov 97. All bidders who plan to attend the site visit, should
submit the name of person(s) from your firm and subcontractors on your
request for bid set. A site visit is anticipated on 25 Nov 97 at 0900.
All request must be in writing along with check. No verbal request
will be honored. Bidders are asked to supply theirDUNS (Data Universal
Numbering System), CAGE Code (Contractor Assigned Government Code),
and a statement that you are not on the Suspended Ineligible, Debarred
