THIS PROJECT CONSTISTS OF PROVIDING LABOR, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIALS TO INSTALL A NEW STANDING SEAM METAL ROOF ON BUILDING 4755. EXISTING ROOFTOP MOUNTED EXHAUST HOODS, ROOF HATCHES, LIGHTNING ARRESTOR SYSTEM, AND PIPING WILL BE RELOCATED OR EXTENDED. THE WORK INCLUDES THE ADDITION OF INSULATION TO THE ROOF. ALL REQUEST FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE MADE IN WRITING TO THE POINT OF CONTACT (JOHN BUSBEY) AND MUST INCLUDE A CASHIERS CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 DOLLARS MADE TO "NASA CASHIER". SOLICITATION REQUEST MUST INCLUDE THE COMPLETE COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE/FAX NUMBER. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AWARDED SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The order of magnitude for the procurement is BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 240 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurementis a total small business set-aside. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small busines size standard for this procurement are 1761 and $7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about OCTOBER 22,1997 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about NOVEMBER 25,1997. The firm date for receipt of bids will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the Bid Distribution Office.
