99 -- DOCEX TRANSPORTABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM SOL MDA908-98-R-0002 DUE 111397 POC Purchasing Agent, SHARON STEWART, (202) 231-2825 The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency has a requirement for design services and procurement of a single vehicle system for the DOCEX Mobil Operations Unit. The design services shall encompass system definition, specification, system design, design analysis, and production planning. The vehicle system shall be constructed to match the design documents. The DOCEX Mobil Operations Unit is to be designed and produced to fulfill the field operations requirements of personnel engaged in Document Exploitation and other intelligence material collection and preliminary processing. The unit is to provide DIA Document Exploitation Division (DOCEX) and other military units with a capability to create mobile, standalone document exploitation cells. The anticipated issue dated for the solicitation is 29 Oct 97 with anticipated receipt of offers due by 14 Nov 97.
