Atherholt Single or multiple awards may result from this solicitation with Fixed Price contracts anticipated. The period of performance will be five years with a possible three year extension. The contractor(s) shall perform laboratory analyses for one or more of the following: Follicle stimulating hormone/luteinizing hormone (FSH/LH), Household dust (lead), C-Peptide, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), and Thyroxine (T4). The number of specimens will vary widely, depending on the assay, with a maximum not exceeding 30 thousand over an 8 year period. Test results must be supplied in machine readable form no later than three weeks after the specimens are received. Offerors must have a well established quality assurance program. Contractor's laboratory methods must be certified in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA). For dust sampling the Contractor must be accredited under the National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP) or Environmental Lead Proficiency Analytical Testing (ELPAT) or similar program. The estimated release date for this RFP is approximately 15 days after this publication and closing will be approximately 30 days after issue date.
