Statement of Work: The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment and transportation necessary to perform analysis of water samples at Edwards AFB. Analysis is in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act as implemented by the California Department of Health Services pursuant to the California Code of Regulations Title 22. Services shall include courier service (Federal Express, UPS, etc, or courier messenger/personnel) for pickup of samples and delivery of analysis results in a timely manner. Any delay experienced by the contractor on any contracted courier (including Federal Express, UPS, etc) service shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor qualification: Analysis must be done by a laboratory certified by the department for environmental testing. Sampling: All samples, unless specified, will be analyzed within five working days of receipt. All priority samples will be confirmed in writing (telefax is acceptable) prior to analysis and will require a 24-hour analysis completion turnaround. Results will be telefaxed (telephone no. 805-277-3273; telefax no. 805-277-6143, attention: SSgt Keir) within 24 hours after receipt of samples. Contractor must notify the contracting officer or 95AMDS/SGPB for approval of any additional testing that may be required prior to analysis to determine applicability. Additional tests done without approval will not be paid. Contractorwill comply with Level 2 quality assurance/quality control requirements set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Contractor will insure that all reports are delivered within 5 working days after analysis completion. Contractor is required to notify 95 AMDS/SGPB in the event of maximum contamination level exceedance or if samples cannot be analyzed.
