R -- SPONSORSHIP/IN KIND DONATIONS FOR THE YOUTH CENTER SPORTS PROGRAM SOL SVS-SCS-118-97 DUE 033098 POC Shena Jones, (907) 552-5900, FAX (907) 552-9750. We are soliciting in-kind donations or sponsorship for the Youth Center Sports Program, which will run April 1, through December 31, 1998. The program will be open to all military youth. The league averages around 650 youth participants each season. We are looking for sponsorship/in-kind donations of $3,000.00 to $48,000.00 to cover the expenses for this program. We are in need of the following: little league baseballs, tee-balls, incrediballs, softballs 12", and 10 softballs 11", equipment bags, scorebooks, first aid kits, uniforms-caps, shirts, pants, and other sport equipment. We would accept part or all of the items requested, depending on the sponsor and what they can provide. The sponsor will be allowed to display banners and information at the event. Advertising in all areas on the base will be done. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received not later than 30 March 1998. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government.
