207-438-2775 Portable abrasive grit vacuum recovery system to be used
in dry docks to recover steel grit abrasive from the interior of
submarines and transport it to a combination classifier and blast pot
for reuse (four tons per hour approx. 200'). The unit shall be self
contained on a skid not to exceed 8' x 10' x 12' high when operational
and shall be designed to allow for transport on a standard low bed
trailer without special permits. The unit shall consist of a
multi-stage centrifugal vacuum producer with direct drive electric
motor, cartridge type dust collector with automatic pulse jet cleaning,
all necessary controls and accessories, and complete and ready to
operate. The unit shall be designed for use in an unprotected, salt
water, marine atmosphere subject to year round weather conditions. 2
