Bechtel National, Inc., acting as agent for the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program (CSDP), intends to competitively solicit proposals to provide 15 Seal-less centrifugal pumps, 5 each for three current sites with the option for additional pumps for future sites that may be exercised through the year 2000. The pumps shall be built per data sheet and specification requirements. The pumps shall be fitted with standard connections. Metric threaded connections are not acceptable. Two pumps will be used for 18% WT NaOH, 78gpm ~@ 196 feet TDH, 100 degrees Fahrenheit. One pump will be used for 18% WT NaOH, 149gpm @ 100.3 feet TDH, 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Two pumps will be used for 5-1/2% WT NaOCI + 1% WT NaOH, 449gpm ~@ 226 feet TDH, 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The material selection and motor selection are per manufacture's standard. Delivery to the current sites will be required by June 1998. This procurement is unrestricted with regard to business size. Evidence of shop capacity and capability to perform projects of this size, type, and complexity, on schedule, will be required. This solicitation will be issued approximately 23 October 1997 and RFP closing will be approximately 30 days thereafter.
