The work comprises of site clearing and demolition, building demolition, earthwork and excavation, concrete curbs, roadway and pedestrian pavements, construction of selected precast concrete retaining walls, casting-in-place concrete foundations, planters, benches, site lighting, storm sewer installation, utility conduits, utility connection, prairie construction, turf grass sodding, and tree planting. The magnitude of the project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 24, 1997 at 2:00 p.m., St. Louis time. Bids are due on November 17, 1997 by 2:00 p.m. St. Louis time. The Agency is committed to maximizing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. In connection with the performance of this contract, a 24% percent DBE goal has been established. DBE firms are invited to propose directly or with another firm.
