FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire AN/ALE Weapons Replacement Assemblies (WRAs) on a sole source basis for Naval Air Systems Command, Program Manager, PMA 272, Jacksonville, FL on behalf of the government of Finland. The WRAs consist of 18 each Programmers, Part Nuber 17930-0006, with VIP Software installed and 36 each Electronic Sequencing Switches, Part Number 179250-0002. They are required as replacement equipment for F/A 18 series aircraft. The WRAs will be acquired from Tracor Aerospace, Inc of Austin, TX. A firm fixed price BOA order is anticipated. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. See Numbered Note 22.
