The purpose of the session is to determine the best course for the future to optimize mission performance and ensure the needs of the stakeholders are met. This includes the PHD's employees, its industry partners and the local community. Recognizing the valuable contributions made by you, our industry partners and your unique perspectives, we invite you to participate in a pre-planning session to obtain your views and ideas on how we might face our challenging and potentially rewarding future. The pre-planning session will be held on October 24 from 0900-1200 at the Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bldg 1388 Audio Visual Center, located at the Port Hueneme Naval Construction Battalion Center. At that meeting a general overview of the PHD Strategic Planning Process will be presented and a structured brainstorming session will be conducted with the results openly shared. Due to the nature of this meeting the topic of PHD Contracting Strategy, including what to contract, how and when, will not be discussed.
