Improve the current 120mm Mortar Ammunition packaging system by designing, fabricating and testing a lightweight container to contain and protect a single 120mm mortar cartridge. Performance requirements and performance verification testing requirements will be set forth in the solicitation. The container must be lightweight, cost effective and protect the mortar cartridge from rough handling and extreme climatic conditions. The container's external envelope must allow it to be used with the current vehicle racks and loose restraint system for the HMMV. Fabricate 300 containers in accordance with solicitation requirements and deliver them to the government for tests and evaluation.
