On-site maintenance on the Variant Analyzer shall include all parts, labor, and travel to maintain equipment in proper operating order at no additional cost to the government. All Reagents shall not require any preparation or a reconstitution period in order to use instrument and kits. Controls must be provided. The material required is considered hazardous material, therefore a material safety data sheet (MSDS) is required with each shipment. Refrigeration of supplies is required. Multiple kits of the same Reagents when delivered should be of the same lot number. Contractor shall provide unlimited emergency services, telephone assistance (24) hours a day, seven days a week and (2) preventive maintenance services (one in october of each year and one in april). Telephone response time shall be within (8) business hours and (24) hours on site response of service call placement. Period of performance is for a base year and three option years. Solicitaion will be issued approximately 05 November 1997. All resonsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency.
