HUD intends to award three contracts to perform management and related services for single family properties which are owned by or in the custody of HUD inthe following geographic area: (1) AREA 2- contains the Illinois counties of Cook County, Suburban North of North Avenue including the entire city of Elgin, not including Hanover Park or Buffalo Grove, (2) AREA 3- contains Kane, Kendall, DuPage, Dekalb counties suburban, and (3) AREA 20- contains Cook County and suburban from North Avenue South to 111th Street including the entire city of Melrose Park and Northlake. HUD expects to award on contract for each geographic area listed. The services will require day to day services in the form of inspections, debris removal, lawn maintenance, winterization, etc. The RFP number is R-CHI-00156. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 6531. See Numbered Note 1. The contract period is for one year from date of award, with two-year options to extend the term of the contract.
