Savage (201) 714-5444/Cynthia Wellington (201) 714-5441 The U.S. Postal Service Facilities Service Office is seeking to prequalify ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS (repair/replacement of electrical power distribution and secondary equipment) in the State of New Jersey. The prequalified contractors' listing will be in effect for 3 years, commencing fiscal year 1998. Cost range for electrical work is $100,000.00 to $2,500,000.00. All contractors must have bonding capability up to $5,000,000.00. Primary factors to be considered are: financial capability, company organization and management, experience and contractor background, and maintenance capability. All firms will be advised within 60 days after return by date as to their prequalification status. Packages are due in the New York Facilities Service Office by November 28, 1997. Interested firms that meet the minimum criteria stated above, may obtain a Contractor Prequalification Package. Firms selected as being the most qualified will be placed on the Prequalification List.
