The effort will involve the use of subcontractor-furnished labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision, subsistence, lodging, and transportation required to perform repairs to SPR pipelines on an emergency, call-out basis. The work to be performed is best classified under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1629, (Heavy Construction, Except Dredging, Not Elsewhere Classified). The magnitude of this requirement is unknown at this time. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or about the last week of October, 1997. Potential bidders/offerors must provide written confirmation of their interest in this task.
