Harrison (360) 476-8844 Item 1 18 ea 25 person Inflatable Life Raft, throw overboard type, packed complete w/SOLAS "A" emergency pack for ocean service. Encapsulated in a reinforced fiberglass container. Must be currently U.S. Coast Guard approved to both 160.051 & 160.151 specifications. All rafts must be identical, rafts shall be mounted a max of ninety (90) feet above the water line and shall be capable of being launched at this height w/out damage. Item 2 10 ea Hydrostatic release for life raft. Item 3 6 ea Cradle, float free, for life raft. Galvanized steel, ready to be bolted or welded to deck. Must be compatible w/25 person life raft. Item 4 4 ea Cradle, tilted, for liferaft. Life raft rack systems for 25 person inflatable life rafts. Designed to hold three (3) life rafts each. The stowage arrangement will be suitable for launch under unfavorable conditions of up to 10 degrees of trim and up to 20 degrees of list either way. Life crafts shall be stowed so as to permit manual release of each raft individually and in sequence from their securing arrangements. Each raft floats free if the vessel sinks. All matl to be resistant to salt water corrosion. All hydrostatic releases are to be identical. Delivery: Life rafts not to be delivered until August of 1998. All other items 4-6 weeks after award of contract. If this time frame cannot be met, offer will be disqualified. I. To be procured under simplified acquisition procedures.
