R -- LABORATORY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM SOL FSIS-3-W-98 DUE 112897 POC Claudia Andrews The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has a requirement for laboratory accreditation management services for the four FSIS laboratories and approximately 150 private laboratories. Services shall include periodic on-site reviews and performance data reviews based on check sample results. The contractor shall be nationally and internationally recognized as competent to accredit laboratories under ISO/IEC Guide 25 requirements. The period of performance will be from the date of award through September 1998, with four one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Requests for solicitation packages shall be in writing and may be faxed to 202-690-1814. No telephone requests will be honored. Solicitation packages will be available on or about October 30, 1997.
