The Colorado River flows within the jurisdictional boundaries and control of the Glen Canyon National Recreational Area, Grand Canyon National Park, Hualapai Nation, and Lake Mead National Recreational Area. The primary location for coordinating and providing logistical support services are to be centrally moved to or located in Flagstaff, Arizona. This central location is the most direct route for providing logistical support to the outlying areas of this project. We expect the contractor to provide for three types of logistical support. The three logistical components are, 1). Food Provisions (menu planing, food purchasing, food packing, food organization and consolidation); 2). Ground Transportation (transport of both logistical equipment and supplies, and research equipment and supplies; and shuttling logistical and technical operators, as well as, research personnel); and 3). Logistical Gear, Supplies, and Equipment ([kitchen, tables, dry storage containers, coolers]; [first aid-kits, repair kits, ropes, straps, and misc.]; and [inflatable motor powered rafts, and oar powered rafts, outboards and oars]).
