This is a request for quotations. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-2. Quotations are sought for 60 each batteries, Concorde Battery Corporation part number: RG500. Required delivery is 60 days after contract award. The inspection/acceptance and FOB Point are Destination (Lexington, Kentucky). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda. The provision at 52.212-2 "Evaluation Commercial Items" applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the low technically acceptable offer. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
