The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center, is seeking a qualified firm(s), individual(s), or group(s) with specialized expertise in Central/Southern Sierra Nevada archeology for miscellaneous projects in Yosemite National Park. Specific projects may include, but are not limited to, identifying and evaluating the significance of historic and prehistoric archeological properties; conducting data recovery excavations; archeological monitoring during construction activities and preparing and/or revising National Register forms for archeological sites and/or districts. In general, projects will be relatively small and limited in scope, typically focusing on a limited geographic area or limited number of sites. The firm(s), individuals(s), or group(s) will be required to respond to scopes of work within three working days, and be required to mobilize for specific project work within 10 working days of work authorization. All services will be provided under a blanket purchase order agreement(s). The total of all work per year will not exceed $100,000 per purchase order. There is no guaranteed minimum amount. All work will be guided by NPS policies and directives, as well as the park's revised Archeological Synthesis and Research Design. A request for quotations will be issued approximately 15 days after publication of this requirement.
