SAN DIEGO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING PRIVATIZATION SUMMIT On Wednesday, November 5, 1997 the Navy and Marine Corps will host a Family Housing industry summit at 9 a.m. at the Wyndham Emerald Plaza Hotel, located at 400 W. Broadway Street in San Diego, California. The Navy and Marine Corps are pursuing a regional privatization initiative in the San Diego area to provide affordable housing for military families. The scope of this initiative includes replacing 812 existing housing units, revitalizing up to 1,665 units and building/acquiring 2,400-4,400 units of additional housing for deficit reduction.
