(A) Remove and demolish existing entrance light structure at Crescent City Harbor and 2 entrance light structures at Humboldt Bay. The removal and demolition of the existing structures shall not occur until May of 1998. The intent is to keep the existing structures in place over the winter. (B) Install 3 new steel pipe structures and equipment platforms at Crescent City and Humboldt Bay (LLNR's 8370, 8150, and 8155). (C) Re-install the fog signals, FA-232, onto the new platforms. Re-installation of solar panels, batteries, and associated wiring and equipment shall be completed by the Coast Guard ANT Humboldt Bay. Estimated range is $100,000 to $250,000. Performance period is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Anticipate bid issue date is 4 December 1997. SIC Code for this procurement is 1629, Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION BEING SOLICITED AND RESPONSIBLE SOURCES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND. The Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract.
