16 -- QRS FOR REPAIR OF PISTON ROD ASSY POC For copy, N/A,,, For additional information contact John Pickle/ Pkc/[405]736-3191 In accordance with FAR 9.2 and Public Law 98.525 this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has established Qualification Requirements (QRs) for the repair of the following items: NSN 1650-01-231- 4086HS, P/N 3867154-1, Piston Rod Assembly, Appl F-15E and NSN 1650-00-303- 5607HS, P/N 3831339-5, Piston Rod Assembly, Appl F-15 A-D. These pistons, when acted upon by hydraulic pressure, transmit the forces required to position the F-15 aircraft's stabilator flight control surfaces. These pistons must have a hard wear surface applied in order to function properly. This is not an RFP. No solicitation document exists.
