70 -- CASS ELECTRO-OPTICS+ UNITS POC Contact Mark Diehl, Phone (301) 757-6883 E-MAIL: diehldm.jfk@navair.navy.mil, diehldm.jfk@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking potential sources for the manufacture, integration and testing of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Electro-optics+ (EO+) Stations. The pending "full and open" competitive solicitation will contain a base year plus four options (firm fixed price) for an estimated total quantity of 34 EO+ Stations. The EO+ Stations shall be manufactured and integrated in accordance with a Government approved Technical Data Package (TDP). The EO+ configuration consists of an Electro-optics Subsystem+ (EOSS+) integrated with a CASS Hybrid Station which will be provided as Government Furnished Property for the procurement. The EO+ TDP is comprised of Source Control Drawings for the major EOSS+ components developed by Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronics & Systems Integration Division, 600 Hicks Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 and Northrop Grumman propriety software. A successful contractor will be required to manufacture EO+ first article units and demonstrate successful integration with a CASS Hybrid Station before the manufacture of additional EO+ units is authorized. Contractors interested in responding to this procurement announcement should do so within twenty (20) days by submitting a short paper (not to exceed 10 one-sided pages in 10 point type or larger) demonstrating their ability to fulfill and manage the requirements outlined above. This information will be used to determine whether or not sufficient interest and capability exists to justify procurement via "full and open" competition. Papers may be in contractor format, but must at a minimum address the contractor's experience and capabilities within the following areas: automated test equipment (ATE)/CASS manufacture, integration and testing; ATE/CASS program management; ATE/CASS subcontractor management; ATE/CASS production engineering support; ATE/CASS configuration management; ATE/CASS failure reporting and corrective action; ATE/CASS reliability; ATE/CASS quality assurance. The contractor shall alsoidentify the contractor's current facilities to accommodate the subject EO+ Station manufacture, integration and testing.
