The Air Force intends to procure the desigh/build (TURNKEY) OF 72 military famly housing units, demolition/or removal of 72 units. and comlete site development at (GREAT FALLS)Malmstrom AFB, MT. The period of performance is approximately 600 days after the notice to proceed. The project includes the design development from the design and construction of military family housing (MFH) units and all necessary site improvements, structures, and offsite work (utilities, roads, etc) work will include all labor, consultant services, materials, and equipment required to provide a complete and ready for occupancy family housing development. Proposal will be solicited on a full and open competition, firm fixed price, lump sum basis. This procurement is unrestricted. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Proposals will be evaluated, based on the technical merit and price. Copies of the RFP will be on CD-ROM disk at NO Charge. The RFP, plans, specifications or drawings will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. All proposals, bonds, and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in a paper medium. Electronic medium for the RFP submittal will NOT be allowed. All contractors interested in receiving a copy of the RFP must request in writing (e-mail or fax). No telephone requests will be accepted. The Air Force anticipates release of the RFP on or about 07Nov97. Offerors will have approximately 45 days from the RFP release date to submit their proposals. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held, at Malmstrom AFB, MT., approximately 14 days after the release of the RFP.
