Federal Technology Service (FTS), Office of Information Security (OIS),
intends to procure commercially available communications security
equipment and components from the lowest priced technically acceptable
offer(s) for the items listed. This is a combined synopsis and
solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions
to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. There are
no addenda referred to in this solicitation. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. This is a GSA, FTS, OIS
solicitation, number TISA98001 and is a request for proposal (RFP). The
solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This solicitation is
being conducted as a small business set-aside. SIC Code 3669 and
Business Size Standard for 750 employees. Quote price and price
extension for each item, description, and quantity in your response to
this CBD notice, no further solicitation will be issued. Item #0001,
ILEX 760B Secure Facsimile Machines or equal, 10 each. The secure
facsimile machines must meet the minimum specifications listed: MIL-STD
188-161D and NATO STANAG 5000 standards for digital facsimile. RS232C
data port for STU-III connection. Dual mode RS-232-C STU-III and RJ-11C
Group III transmission. Synchronous data modes from 2400 to 9600 bps.
Asynchronous data modes 300 to 19200 bps. Automatic protocol detection
for incoming transmission. Capable of interfacing with KG84A, KG84C,
KG94A, KY57-58, and KY68. Document Feeder 30 sheet. 16-level grayscale
halftone. Transmission verification receipts. Must have a Dual 115 and
230 volt, 50 and 60 Hz switchable power supply. Delivery shall be
within 30 days of contract award. Delivery shall be FOB destination via

of proposals shall be conducted in accordance with FAR 52.212-2
