The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-97-G-0045 for a SCSI expansion chassis for the Mobile Operation Command Center (MOCC), including necessary interfaces and 24 production units, for the P-3C aircraft. The supplies and services required by this acquisition are the necessary engineering development efforts to design, document and prototype a SCSI expansion chassis for the Mobile Operation Command Center (MOCC) with appropriate system interfaces and to provide 24 production units. Specifically, the contractor will be responsible for all the non-recurring hardware engineering development efforts and recurring production tasks required to support integration of a Mission Data Loader, PCMCIA interface, JAZ drive, and two 4GB disk drives in an assembly in the MOCC to interface with the SCSI bus of the P-3's AIP workstation. NAVAIR intends to negotiate with PRB Associates since it is the only known software developer of the P-3C unique components for the MOCC as well as the system integrator for that system. (0293)
