Must be able to cut specimen increments of 0.01 -- 0.5 microns for semithin. 3. The knife stage must have a 10 mm motorized N-S movement so it is smoother than manually advancing. 4. The sectioning speed must be slow, 0.5mm/sec for cryo upgrade. 5. The control unit must be separate from the sectioning unit to prevent vibration transfer. 6. Must have built in section counter at no extra cost for serial sectioning. 7. Must provide product brochures and demonstrate stated claims. The PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS are the governments minimum performance requirements and cannot be changed unless in writing. 1.DELIVERY..within 45 days of award. The set up is during training. 2. TRAINING is within 3 weeks of delivery as set up by EPA. Training must be at the EPA-Cinti facility for 6 employees for 3 days. 3. WARRANTY is for 2 years from day of setup.
