NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Repair of Main Base Storm Drainage System at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: the cleaning of all storm drainage pipe and the air testing of selected pipe joints. Repair work for pipes includes the using of pressure grouting; replacement of appropriate pipes; installation of cured-in-place pipe lining; backfilling of settled areas; dewatering; and other work as indicated on the plans and directed by the Contracting Officer. Repair work for the storm drainage structures includes demolition, replacement, or provision of new covers, frames, collars, and fallen bricks; pressure grouting walls and bottoms; removal of concrete deposits; patching of holes in bottoms; replacement of entire structures; dewatering; raising of structures; backfilling settled areas; and other work indicated or directed by the Contracting Officer. All pavement and physical improvements disturbed during construction are to be restored. All unpaved areas disturbed during construction are to be fertilized and seeded. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1771. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 11/04/97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 12/04/97. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
