The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for research, design and development services in support of space science programs. The work involves development, test, and implementation of hardware and software systems for real-time payload operations and control, and for ground support equipment for payload satellites. The work also includes extreme UV and far UV flight spectrometer testing and calibration, scientific data analysis and image processing. Offerors must demonstrate specialized experience and an ability to provide qualified personnel. A Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract is anticipated with a 5 year term. The principal place of performance is at NRL in Washington, D.C. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by NRL.
