harrer@pnl.gov. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks
interested parties to commercialize PNNL's method for direct processing
of low-flow liquid streams (less than 100 microliters per minute) to
remove salts and other low molecular weight species. The method uses
flow through a microdialysis fiber in conjunction with a
counter-current external flow of "clean liquid", and is amenable to
on-line and continuous processing of liquid streams prior to their
introduction into such devices as mass spectrometers. Interested firms
must submit a statement of interest, including a description of the
firm's financial resources, its size (in terms of number of employees),
its technical capabilities and experience in the development of
technology employing hollow fibers and/or technology for low-flow
liquid separations, and the products that it manufactures and/or sells
that employ hollow fibers and/or are used for low-flow liquid
separations. These must be submitted by November 17, 1997 c/o Bruce
