Within fifteen days after the date of this announcement, DARPA intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order for $33,997.00 to Howard Frank, 625 Potomac River Road, McLean, VA 22102. The award will support the DARPA Information Technology Office (ITO) in exploring and developing program strategies for promising new technology areas and technical support to DARPA program managers as well as the Office Director and Deputy Director. Mr. Frank s unique background in the transfer of advanced technology R&D to deployment and operations in the Defense Information Infrastructure as well as his ability to provide the leading-edge pilot information technology services within the Defense Information Systems Agency make him well qualified for this effort. Mr. Frank also implemented the Global Command and Control Leading Edge Service, an effort that created a new generation of command and control technology for the DoD.
