The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) has a requirement for on-site maintenance and repairs for computer equipment located in El Paso, TX. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, parts, and transportation to accomplish the work. The types of computer equipment to be maintained and/or repaired includes, but is not limited to, the following: CD Writers, CD/ROM Drives, Digitizers, Displays, Expansion Stations, Modems, Plottters, Printers, Processors 286, 386 & 486, Laptops, Pentiums, Scanners, and Tape Drives. The period of performance is from date of purchase order award through September 30, 1998. The Contractor shall provide an 8-hour response time, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The repair time shall not exceed 48 hours. If equipment cannot be repaired within 48 hours, the Contractor shall provide replacement equipment equal to that being repaired. Quarterly preventive maintenance with remedial repairs shall be provided by the Contractor. Tentative dates for issuing and opening the Request for Quotation are November 5, 1997 and November 19, 1997, respectively. Copies of the RFQ package are available at no charge.
